How to Purchase the Exclusive Snoopy

 Yesterday, Ty silently introduced Snoopy the dog. There are two versions of this adorable beagle.
I contacted Knott's Berry Farm to find out more about the two versions of this Peanuts character. I also asked how collectors could order this beanie. The store will have the beanies in hand during the week of July 9, 2007. Here is the information I received:
 The two Snoopy the dog Beanie Babies are the same. The difference is in the hang tag. According to the email I received:
* The Knott's Berry Farm exclusive tag has the Knott's web address and will be sold at Knott's Berry Farm.
* The other (Camp Snoopy) version will have a Camp Snoopy tag and the Cedar Fair web address and will be sold at the various Cedar Fair parks that have a Camp Snoopy area (Dorney Park, Michigan's Adventure, Cedar Point).
 Bean Watcher comment: If you plan to buy both versions of Snoopy, you may want to place your order with Knott's Berry Farm in California, USA to combine shipping and save on postage costs. Otherwise, you can choose to buy the Camp Snoopy exclusive version at locations outside of California.

Two Versions of Snoopy Silently Introduced

Today, Ty silently introduces two versions of Snoopy the dog. This Beanie Baby is patterned after a popular character in the comic strip called Peanuts.  Today, Ty announces Leopold the bear, a Rainforest Cafe exclusive. This Beanie Baby has a spotted coat and the words, Rainforest Cafe, embroidered on its left footpad. No Brookfield Zoo Promotion this Year

 During the past four years, the Brookfield Zoo offered a promotional plush toy during its Beanie Baby Days event. The promotional beanie came with either a special hang tag or a commemorative card. This year, a special beanie will not be given away. An employee at the zoo shares (slightly edited):
The giveaway beanie this year is Independence Bear. Unfortunately, this year it won't come with a special name tag or commemorative card. Many of the people at TY who handled this (event) last year are no longer there, and we at the zoo were so busy ... that we ran out of time to do anything about it.... Since we don't have a special tag this year on the giveaway, the Independence Bear is exactly like what you could buy at any gift shop.
